​We made every effort to find an authentic version of each dish.  Many of the dishes are homemade and we photographed them ourselves. We also visited our favorite places to capture mouth-watering dishes and honor those restaurants who put their heart and soul into their cooking. Many dishes were also chosen to celebrate our friends from different backgrounds and cultures. The Dishing It Up! Game is dedicated to Alex's brother Michael who passed away suddenly on April 13, 2019.
